Transit of Venus

Transits of Venus.

when Venus eclipses the Sun is a transit, and THE TRANSIT OF VENUS is the cycle of these transits, two times Venus eclipse Sun in 8 years and the next eclipse is followed by over a 100 year length of time and another again eight years later; that is, the Transit Of Venus.
Ranges for this exactness in time I have seen from 100 to 135 years from sources unsure of contexts to Zodiac locations nor creditability of expertise.
When it is marked as a place in time to compare to another point in time as a reference then those are physical spots of locations where the planet was at some time; but sometimes it is impossible to have the physical planets aligned together in some transits as described by title; i.e, for Venus opposition Sun, occurrence of the possibly never, for that would place Earth in the middle with a closer orbit to the Sun than Venus; Venus opposite Sun Earth, the Sun positions at one time periode and Venus at another, both having in common their view from Earth at either of those times.

The Venus Transits &
The Return of the Divine Feminine
By Govinda

Venus passed between the Earth and our Sun on June 8th, 2004, and initiated an eight-year cycle known as the “Venus Transits”. The Venus Transits cycle is a rare celestial event that occurs every 113 – 130 years, when Venus eclipses the Sun two times – at the beginning and at the end of an eight-year period. The second Venus eclipse will occur on June 6th, 2012. Astrologically, Venus represents our relationships with others. Communication is a major factor in all of our relationships. Whenever Venus eclipsed the Sun in past recorded history, there was a major breakthrough in communications. For example, at the time of the last Venus eclipse in 1874, the Transatlantic Telegraph Cable was completed that created the first intercontinental communications by wire between the East and the West. In 1761, another year of a Venus eclipse, there was a collaboration of astronomers at 77 observation points from all over the world to determine the distance from Earth to the Sun.

The safest way to view the event is by projecting an image of the Sun onto a sheet of white paper or cardboard.(end excert by Govinda)

TRANSIT OF VENUS

Do any other planets undergo transits?

From an Earth perspective, Mercury and Venus are the only planets that orbit closer to the Sun than the Earth, so are the only planets that can transit the Sun.

For the first time since December 6, 1882, the Planet Venus will pass directly between our Planet Earth and the Sun’s face.

History
There have been six Transits of Venus since the invention of the telescope. They were: 1631, 1639, 1761, 1874 and 1882

    Unrealistic ideals
During this time you should be careful of your relationships. This influence has many possibilities, some good, some difficult. Your unrealistic ideals may lead to acute disappointment with loved ones, unless you make an effort to understand and accept the reality of your relationships. A typical illusion to beware of is picturing yourself in a love relationship as the unselfish, giving one who sacrifices everything for the other. This is a blatant ego game in which the ultimate purpose may be to gain control over the other by manipulating feelings of obligation. Although this influence is capable of producing a beautiful romantic experience, you cannot depend upon it continuing forever. Enjoy it for itself and do not make demands upon it. Beauty does not need to be justified.
