Just a couple of quick notes of what I’ve seen and read up to today, of what I’ve taken a 3 or 4 days or so, to get posted to blogs.
Mostly today, it seems, for what thats worth…just that a lot of the edits didn’t take;
or took wrong; or were changed by glichez.

So what would we like to see turned around?
I found little of my own interests within this post, so what.
A wise man can reason away, or a way…
So what I thought, about these two linked posts, at end, maybe somethings are within your reach in either. That also, either could jar some ideas related to things of your own.
My reasoning: For we know it is “not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6). . .

The message of seed faith literally operates every success principle on the earth.

I am only suggesting you read this with some hope of a visual change for lasting things, and imagine at length-that-whatever~within a full cycle of seasons.
Remember when Noah told everyone it was going to rain, flood, and he was building an Arc? That was a first time (first rain, first time anyone went sailing there)….

So What, what about the areas where you already think that there needs to be somethings for the better…?
…Well,
…What Seeds Are Being Planted?

This post continues….

Does the fool see this or does the fool percieve to believe that the wise can/and\or can not see, and with or without any choice?:
But what a fool believes he sees
No wise man has the power
to reason away
What seems to be
Is always better than nothing
There’s nothing at all
But what a fool believes
he sees

Remember that God gives seed to the sower.
Release the seed from your hand, and He will give you more seed to sow and multiply the sown seed. Sow today and activate the law of the supernatural harvest that is coming your way!

Sow your seed with mighty expectation for today and the future!
Jesus promises, “Give, and it shall be given unto you; good measure, pressed down, and shaken together, and running over, shall men give into your bosom. For with the same measure that ye mete withal it shall be measured to you again” (Luke 6:38).

For we know it is “not by might, nor by power, but by my spirit, saith the Lord of hosts” (Zechariah 4:6). . .
Well, you see where I picked up that verse and applied it above.

The Legacy of Harry S Truman examined that presidency and its impact on the nation 40 years later.

But Cronkite always liked to be a reporter of hard news. He travelled with President Nixon to China and the Soviet Union, covered Khrushchev’s visit to America and the Coronation of Queen Elizabeth II. He once asked the Duke of Edinburgh about the world’s environmental crises and was told: “I’d stabilise the world’s population first, and then see what happened.”

Later, however, in 1983, he interviewed her after she had won her second general election. Later still, while chairing a luncheon for her in America, he inspired a standing ovation by asking her lightly whether she would accept the Republican presidential nomination.

And Older …
A Memorial Day draft I never cleaned up or finnished to send in time for the holiday.

Memorial Day.

Memorial Day… within a Holiday frame of mind I do wonder in this note.
For those that survived the battles and wars of history and of many who are still living today; of those ways of so many, as if we all shared in dieing a little, we died not, and eventually must ammend our ways to just that; our living. We each can now act sensibly if we want to for the time is set aside by those before us, which almost depends on those age old causes to eventually have their place resolved in history; and a day we can still tend to ourselves being both cautious and assertive to our personal and family while also to community themes.
“In my Fathers house there are many mansions.”
It is said that our Lord spoke of His fathers house having many mansions. That there was room enough for all who chose to come. He spoke also of having other sheep to tend to, and that they too He must gather, for the kingdom…
…These are some words He spoke about The Time of His Return that come from the European Bible; The King James Version.
Blessings from the Light Rev. Dr. Robert Ghost Wolf

Memorial Day
Yet even still, so often, by the time the soldiers return home, there are so many changes that its a wonder; given any reasonable view, we then have so many new experts, about things of which a new majority of citisens really say for themselves, that they themselves do not have a clue, to say the least what an accomplishment it must be to return home and get up to speed on it all…

Memorial Day,
… ever wonder?
To Pray, each of us ourselfs, , for the many soldiers who have gone before us, all issues aside…

..that, on this day also that we pray together…

The memorial word for these three books, viz., Job, Mishle (Proverbs), and Tehillim (Psalms), is ‘mt, formed from the first letter of the first word of each book, or, following the Talmudic and Masoretic arrangement of the books, t’m.
Having in view the superscription sh|lomoh mish|leey , with which the book commences, the ancients regarded it as wholly the composition of Solomon. The circumstance that it contains only verses, while according to 1 Kings 5:12 (4:32) Solomon spake proverbs, R. Samuel bar-Nachmani explains by remarking that each separate verse may be divided into two or three allegories or apothegms (e.g., Prov 25:12), not to mention other more arbitrary modes of reconciling the discrepancy. (Note: Pesikta, ed. Buber (1868), 34b, 35a. Instead of 800, the Masora reckons 915 verses in the Book of Proverbs

SCRIPTURES:
CHAPTER 21.
OF THE ETERNAL ELECTION, BY WHICH GOD HAS PREDESTINATED SOME TO SALVATION, AND OTHERS TO DESTRUCTION.
The divisions of this chapter are,—I. The necessity and utility of the doctrine of eternal Election explained. Excessive curiosity restrained, sec. l, 2. II. Explanation to those who through false modesty shun the doctrine of Predestination, sec. 3, 4. III. The orthodox doctrine expounded.

Memorial Day, and all the day
…besides, Life Is Eternal.
.)
Without the rhyme and rhetoric, it should be a fair request to ask the Lord
As the prayer states “If I should die before I wake, I pray the Lord my soul to take.”
and to take my soul anytime I die in this Earthly life.

But Memorial Day is something different,
More a day, I believe, for the living to share conciderations given the atributes of what we have today, both of ourselves within society and of humanity within our borders; and recognizing whether we are ever called upon or not, or volunteer or not, our duty is put into a rightous place of service with our country’s; the holiday of reconsiling our differentiating on this day, to be in tune with our creator over these soldiers, for the better things- or worse(it sounds like marriage a little) a memorial day in thanks and honor and appreciation; and, where our country and the individuals associated have/had deviations from the rightous, we set ourselves in memorial service on this holiday for those veterans who died in battle…
…maybe thats nothing different at all; just or a reitteration in different words, of my own rambling…

What makes a Holiday a Landmark Of The Spirit?
Some philosophical issues in the fore; and before, since the official day of observance has now passed just this Monday of this week(last weel now). I , myself , even missed the moment of silence at 3:00pm that day.
So maybe in my own efforts I find some resolve invisioned as what each of us could typify in saying “there is another one!” “of ourselves”, in that; as if we can look at others in problamatic or annoing display of this personified image, what could be found to have a view(if we look very carefully) that we can find some complex way that the interpretation identifies something common between us, and then that old adjetation unfolds the part of ourselves that it is really reflecting in our own inward or egotistic problems.

Psalm 50:18 Septuagint, Syriac, Targum, and Vulgate

Will those in the future wounder what we were thinking?
You have to beleive that many since our foundation had our best interest in mind of today.
Are they lessoning in numbers and their faith drawing favor in complacently over the sake of variety.
Will we become concerned with the meaning of the world in light of our Memorial Day obsevances and find new ways of peace to satisfy turbulances to kneadable unity?
Will they, in the future, debate topics sacred then to whether we knew what any people in latter generations could derive of us today and mock of “insult to” or “in ridicule” to what we had deemed as historical or sacred in our own time?

The Mark of the Holy Spirit
(Ephesians 1:13-14) When you believed, you were marked in him with a seal, the promised Holy Spirit, who is a deposit guaranteeing our inheritance, until the redemption of those who are God’s possession – to the praise of his glory

The Making Of A Memorial Day
Memorial Day is not so much about the grounds that had drawn us into wars.
But to honor those up to now that took with themselves what we praised indepedantly and/or together within our values, that they did so set aside all their own and what they knew of others, and fought for our country to their death.
To much it stands, fore unto all creation, now; and even if it is in that future, that country of the United States Of America, were only be found in history books. Just enough if we’re still living in the U.S.A.
As patriotic as that sounds… it is the spirit I draw attention to first.
Words by text alone tend to shadow and muffle over the spirit.

Concider for the soldier and the Love of Country a Cause for Thanks and Prayer (Ephesians 1:15-16) For this reason, ever since I heard about your faith in the Lord Jesus and your love for all his people, I have not stopped giving thanks for you, remembering you in my prayers.

Memorial Day
A Nation-wide holiday set to observe those who died in service of the military of The United States Of America; specificaly honouring veterans, but possibly others, regaurdless of their commanding leadership’s department, under authority of the government of The United States Of America and/or The U.S.A. Department Of Defense Branch.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Memorial_Day#cite_note-0
“The alternative name” “Memorial Day” “first OBSERVED”

Memorial Day is a day for remembering those who have died in our nation’s service, not just a day that provides a long weekend for vacations. It is not important who first honored our veterans, but rather that we do honor them today. Memorial Day is not about division, it is about reconciliation; it is about coming together to honor those who gave their all, for us.

Memorial Day, suddenly these links no longer are the same, they have changed since Sunday night; but you see that they were from respectable websites.
[Fletcher knows he's talking to Josey Wales, addressing as AKA Mr Wilson]
Fletcher: I think I’ll go down to Mexico to try to find him.
Josey Wales: And then?
Fletcher: He’s got the first move. I owe him that. I think I’ll try to tell him the war is over. What do you say, Mr. Wilson?
Josey Wales: I reckon so. I guess we all died a little in that damn war.

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0075029/quotes

The character Fletcher is loosely based on Capt. Dave Poole, one of Quantrill’s Raiders. After the war, Poole assisted Federal authorities in convincing guerrillas to give up the fight and surrender.
This film is the first to confront the history of the Missourians who fell prey to Kansas-based Unionists who called themselves Redlegs (after their red-striped stockings and gaiters) and Jayhawkers.[4] It is a revisionist film in that it abandons the standard presentations of the Unionists that characterized Hollywood productions up to that time, along with the dark depictions of the Missouri riders.[5] The Outlaw Josey Wales reverses these stereotypes.
Ten Bears: These things you say we will have, we already have.
Josey Wales: That’s true. I ain’t promising you nothing extra. I’m just giving you life and you’re giving me life. And I’m saying that men can live together without butchering one another.
Ten Bears: It’s sad that governments are chiefed by the double tongues. There is iron in your words of death for all Comanche to see, and so there is iron in your words of life. No signed paper can hold the iron. It must come from men. The words of Ten Bears carries the same iron of life and death. It is good that warriors such as we meet in the struggle of life… or death. It shall be life.

Ten Bears – born Paruasemana (ca. 1790-1872), became the paraivo or chief of the Ketahto (“Don’t Wear Shoes”) local band of Native Americans, and later the Principal Chief of the northern Yamparika or “Root Eater” division of the Numunuu Comanche, ca. 1850-60. As Comanche personal names are seldom translated into English, he is commonly known as Paruasemena.
Paruasemena first came to the attention of Anglo-Americans in 1853 when he signed the Treaty of Fort Atkinson. His name was translated as ‘Ten Sticks’, a confusion of /parua/ ‘bear’ with /paria/ ‘dogwood stick’. The error was corrected in the 1854 revision of the treaty.
Treaty of the Little Arkansas River came after the Republic of Texas was annexed to the United States in 1849, but the Republic did not recognize any native land claims within its borders — this opinion was based on a faulty reading of Spanish and Mexican law and therefore in 1865 there were no “federal” versus “state” owned lands within the boundaries of Texas which the Government could “reserve” to the Native Americans. The treaty created a reservation for the Comanches encompassing the entire panhandle of Texas.
Medicine Lodge Treaty
While the specifics of the implications of these details remain historically unclear, two years later, at the October 1867 Medicine Lodge Treaty Conference, Paruasemena and other Yamparikas as well as a few other Comanches (but none of the newly emergent Kwahada division), agreed to a smaller reservation in western Indian territory of Oklahoma.
At that conference, Paruasemena gave an eloquent address:
“ My heart is filled with joy when I see you here, as the brooks fill with water when the snow melts in the spring; and I feel glad, as the ponies do when the fresh grass starts in the beginning of the year. I heard of your coming when I was many sleeps away, and I made but a few camps when I met you. I know that you had come to do good to me and my people. I looked for benefits which would last forever, and so my face shines with joy as I look upon you. My people have never first drawn a bow or fired a gun against the whites. There has been trouble on the line between us and my young men have danced the war dance. But it was not begun by us. It was you to send the first soldier and we who sent out the second. Two years ago I came upon this road, following the buffalo, that my wives and children might have their cheeks plump and their bodies warm. But the soldiers fired on us, and since that time there has been a noise like that of a thunderstorm and we have not known which way to go. So it was upon the Canadian. Nor have we been made to cry alone. The blue dressed soldiers and the Utes came from out of the night when it was dark and still, and for camp fires they lit our lodges. Instead of hunting game they killed my braves, and the warriors of the tribe cut short their hair for the dead. So it was in Texas. They made sorrow come in our camps, and we went out like the buffalo bulls when the cows are attacked. When we found them, we killed them, and their scalps hang in our lodges. The Comanches are not weak and blind, like the pups of a dog when seven sleeps old. They are strong and farsighted, like grown horses. We took their road and we went on it. The white women cried and our women laughed.
But there are things which you have said which I do not like. They were not sweet like sugar but bitter like gourds. You said that you wanted to put us upon reservation, to build our houses and make us medicine lodges. I do not want them. I was born on the prairie where the wind blew free and there was nothing to break the light of the sun. I was born where there were no inclosures [sic] and where everything drew a free breath. I want to die there and not within walls. I know every stream and every wood between the Rio Grande and the Arkansas. I have hunted and lived over the country. I lived like my fathers before me, and like them, I lived happily.
When I was at Washington the Great Father told me that all the Comanche land was ours and that no one should hinder us in living upon it. So, why do you ask us to leave the rivers and the sun and the wind and live in houses? Do not ask us to give up the buffalo for the sheep. The young men have heard talk of this, and it has made them sad and angry. Do not speak of it more. I love to carry out the talk I got from the Great Father. When I get goods and presents I and my people feel glad, since it shows that he holds us in his eye.
If the Texans had kept out of my country there might have been peace. But that which you now say we must live on is too small. The Texans have taken away the places where the grass grew the thickest and the timber was the best. Had we kept that we might have done the things you ask. But it is too late. The white man has the country which we loved, and we only wish to wander on the prairie until we die. Any good thing you say to me shall not be forgotten. I shall carry it as near to my heart as my children, and it shall be as often on my tongue as the name of the Great Father. I want no blood upon my land to stain the grass. I want it all clear and pure and I wish it so that all who go through among my people may find peace when they come in and leave it when they go out. ”

Abel and the Life of Faith (it started long before USA existed)
Hebrews 11:4
Code: 1627
“By faith Abel offered unto God a more excellent sacrifice than Cain, by which he obtained witness that he was righteous, God testifying of his gifts; and by it he being dead yet speaketh.” We might entitle this message, “The Sermon from a Dead Man.”
Moffatt once wrote these words, “Death is never the last word in the life of a righteous man.” When a man leaves this world be he righteous or unrighteous he leaves something in the world. He may leave something that will grow and spread like a cancer or a poison, or he may leave something like the fragrance of perfume or a blossom of beauty that permeates the atmosphere with blessing. Man leaves, he’s either a Paul or a Nero. Dead men do tell tales. They are not silent, they speak. Witness the end of verse 4, “he being dead yet speaks.” And that is said of Abel.

Memorial Day as an occasion of serious reflection for our country, as within the history of our country; we may have aligned iself with popular, or unpopular, mainstream ideas and concepts of many that may have changed over time; but in all, the issues were put aside for the greater benifit of unity under the commanding resonant authority.

5:13-16 Ye are the salt of the earth. Mankind, lying in ignorance and wickedness, were as a vast heap, ready to putrify; but Christ sent forth his disciples, by their lives and doctrines to season it with knowledge and grace.

My Spiritual relating
So simply stated; all figures are approximate; information is not guaranteed to be true or misleading; sources credable or questionable or not, we could gain in having the understanding of each other as part of a personal project, but The Only Material Construction To this HOLIDAY Is To Be Abridging As Ongoing
Not to cut things short, simply written truly short & sweet, for the spirit of those with their God Given signature of whose feathers sailed in that wind, alone, to pen the goodness and truth that sets free our minds to seek.
Life, while it is so precious and short, like the flow of the feather, each of us joined together in this activity individually, “sui generis”, today, and forever, and even more; as life is an eternal work In progress, that for this Holiday, Memorial Day, that we share in debted to credit our current Country as it stands in Honour of all who provided their lives in duty with their military highlights hereon this day each year; that for these soldiers from our Country’s foundation on thru this day we make reverance though their sources of reasonings have changed often since then, yet still the same, as each of us are from origins that have long and extenuous deep linking historys. We continue…
…Memorial Day Spirit and Soul poetic, legend, or key…

Okay, in short,
A text of lyrics, from the song “How Great Thou Art” “then sings my soul” …
..in moving on from that With My thoughts for the Memorial Day Holiday, as I drifted a little away from Last Sundays (the Sunday before) Church Sermon’s mention of Pentacost.

My thoughts for the Holiday as I drifted a little away from the Sermon’s mention of Pentacost. I wondered for material purposes, of surplus, what did we have before our written language but stories to find the spirit..,. and what is it that we do that the Spirit chooses us, or is moved by us, or pleased by us, that we can do, today, if anything at all ?
Then the music cords of the electric guitar and the voice of choir’s “How Great Thou Art; in a contemporary church service setting a live band choir style, drums, guitar, organ, and maybe a couple of tamberines; as the drums soothe quietness into a drum rolled marching beat,.. .. …… .. … . … . the lyrics I had felt, as thought it, as my mind described it: of my heart that sang engauges- “Then, sings my soul: My Saviour… God to Thee…,
I knew: How great thou art; (again) How great Thou art.
I lacked knowing by definition of Pentacost, and a search later in the week that explained some note of the Jewish Holiday of Shovuot in the Month of Ziv ,
also called theMonth of Iyar | … weeks between Pesach and Shavuot – the holiday of receiving the Torah. … The month of Iyar is also called the month of “Ziv”, which means “shine”. …

Its now June 16th
13 June 2010, Sunday-3rd Biblical month, Sivan

But this is only about Memorial Day…

Memorial Day,
Memorial Day is a United States federal holiday observed on the last Monday of May (May 31 in 2010). Formerly known as Decoration Day, it commemorates U.S. men and women who died while in the military service.[1] First enacted to honor Union soldiers of the American Civil War (it is celebrated near the day of reunification after the Civil War), it was expanded after World War I.

A HOLIDAY
Revival… Said John MacLean on the 2003 opening of their General Assembly, the burden of my heart is in the words of Psalm 85:6, ‘Revive us again’.
When we look around us, we might be seeing a number of

good things going on in our Church that encourage us to

believe that God is once again looking favourably on us, but

when we begin to look below the surface, we discover a

worldliness and complacency which has crept into our lives as

individual believers with the result that we don’t have the same

commitment to the things of God.

To paraphrase the words

of McCheyne ‘We are not as holy as saved sinners can be’.

We need to ask what is the level of our commitment to the

Lord? What are our priorities? Are we really functioning as

the Light of the World and as the Salt of the Earth? Or does

the world have an influence on us, rather than the reverse?

We do need be praying that God would begin to awaken

and quicken us as individuals. That has to be our priority. We

need to be constantly aware that this is our need. When God

is reviving the hearts of His people individually, then the heart

of our congregations will be revived. Our Congregations, our

denomination, the Church in Scotland needs to be revived.

For the sake of our country, we need revival.

http://gbcdecatur.org/ sermons/SoMuchToRemember.html

So Much to Remember!

Exodus 13:3

INTRODUCTION: Memorial Day is primarily given to remembering those who have died, whether it be loved ones, or those who have died for their country. We are instructed dozens of times in the Word of God to remember certain things. The Israelites were admonished to keep to their remembrance various days and events of their national history.

I want to call your attention to some things that are worthy of our remembrance. Just like going thru old photo albums, let’s take a look!

I. WE SHOULD REMEMBER THE TIME AND PLACE OF OUR SALVATION.

[Have Some Of Congregation Respond By Giving The Time And Place Of Salvation.]

I remember because my mother wrote down the date and circumstances in my Bible, and what I prayed when I got saved. I remember the place because I was there, and also have a picture. But someday I may forget, and thank God my salvation is not dependent upon my memory, but God’s!

II. WE SHOULD REMEMBER THE PIT THAT WAS PRIOR TO OUR SALVATION.

Psalm 9:15

The heathen are sunk down in the pit that they made: in the net which they hid is their own foot ta ken .

Psalm 40:2

He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, and set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.

III. WE SHOULD REMEMBER THE FEELING WHICH FOLLOWED OUR SALVATION.

Rev. 2:4-5

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love. [5] Remember therefore from whence thou art fallen, and repent, and do the first works…

When a person falls he falls from one level to a lower level. You never fall upwards; always downward.

Jesus Said:

                1. Remember.

                2. Repent.

                3. Return.

IV. WE SHOULD REMEMBER OUR VOWS AND COMMITMENTS.

Eccles. 5:4-5

When thou vowest a vow unto God, defer not to pay it; for he hath no pleasure in fools: pay that which thou hast vowed. [5] Better is it that thou shouldest not vow, than that thou shouldest vow and not pay.

        A. Our Vows To God.

                1. Maybe to give a certain amount to missions.

                2. To witness more often.

                3. To live a holy life.

                4. To answer His calling in our lives.

        B. Our Vows To Our Spouse. Relate the violation of these to the divorce rate in America .

                1. To love.

                2. To honor.

                4. To keep self for the other.

        C. Vows To Others.

                2. To offer what help they need.

V. WE ARE TO REMEMBER OUR BRETHREN.

        A. (1 Tim 4:6) If thou put the brethren in remembrance of these things, thou shalt be a good minister of Jesus Chris t…

        B. Intercessory Prayer. (1 Sam 12:23) Moreover as for me, God forbid that I should sin against the LORD in ceasing to pray for you…

        C. (2 Tim 1:3)  I thank God, whom I serve from my forefathers with pure conscience, that without ceasing I have remembrance of thee in my prayers night and day;

There was a time when people were more concerned for friends than they were for themselves.

VI. WE ARE TO REMEMBER THE TRUTHS OF GOD.

        A. (John 14:26) But the Comforter, which is the Holy Ghost, whom the Father will send in my name, he shall teach you all things, and bring all things to your remembrance, whatsoever I have said unto you.

        B. (Rev 3:3) Remember therefore how thou hast received and heard, and hold fast, and repent.

VII. WE ARE TO REMEMBER OUR PARENTS.

(Eph 6:1) Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right.

        A. Why So Many Teenage Tragedies? They have bro ken this commandment.

        B. (Psa 71:9) Cast me not off in the time of old age; forsake me not when my strength faileth.

VIII. WE ARE TO REMEMBER OUR SOLDIERS AND HEROES.

My dad taught me that a person in a military uniform was a hero, and I still honor that today.

The Jewish soldiers were honored as they returned from battle. “ David has slain his 10,000’s.”

When protestors begin to speak out against our military I think to myself, they need to see some blood spilled – theirs! I can’t stand to see people make light of those who have fought for our country.

We should make much of our war heroes before our children. We should remember today those who ran into those buildings when human nature said to run out…as well as those not enlisted personnel who cried “Let’s Roll!” and fought mano a mano, courageously saving the day!

We should remember how our country began as a Chris tian nation, based on God’s laws, and what makes America great, lest we lose it!

I am not against immigration [just illegal immigration], nor do I hold a grudge against

anyone who is seeking a better life by coming to America .

In fact, our country’s population is almost entirely comprised of

descen dan ts of immigrants; however, there are a few things that

those who have recently come to our country need to understand.

First of all, it is not our responsibility to continually try

not to offend you in any way. This idea of America being a

multi-cultural community has served only to dilute our

sovereignty and our national identity. As Americans, we have

our own culture, our own society, our own language, and our

own lifestyle. This culture, called the ” American Way ” has been

developed over centuries of struggles, trials, and victories by

millions of men and women who have sought freedom. So many

fought, bled, and died at places like Bunker Hill , San

Juan, Iwo Jima , Normandy , Korea , Vietnam , Iraq , and other places.

We speak English, not Spanish, Arabic, Chinese, Japanese,

Russian, or any other language. Therefore, if you wish to

become part of our society – learn our language!

“In God We Trust” is our national motto.

This is not some off-the-wall, Chris tian, Right Wing, political

slogan – it is our national motto. It is engraved in stone in the

House of Representatives in our Capitol and it is printed on our

currency. We adopted this motto because Chris tian men and

women, on Chris tian principles, founded this nation; and

this is clearly documented throughout our history. If it is

appropriate for our motto to be inscribed in the halls of our

highest level of Government, then it is certainly appropriate

to display it on the walls of our schools.

God is in our pledge, our National Anthem, nearly every

patriotic song, and in our founding documents. We honor His

birth, death, and resurrection as holidays, and we turn to

Him in prayer in times of crisis. If God offends you, then

I suggest you consider another part of the world as your new

home, because God is part of our culture and we are proud

            to have Him.

We are proud of our heritage and those who have so honorably

defended our freedoms. We celebrate Independence Day,

Memorial Day, Veterans Day, and Flag Day. We have parades,

picnics, and barbecues where we proudly wave our flag…and I dare you to burn one in my presence!

As an American, I have the right to wave my flag, wear it on a t- shirt, sing my

national anthem, quote my national motto, and cite my pledge

whenever and wherever I choose. If the Stars and Stripes offend

you, then you should seriously consider a move to another part of this planet.

The American culture is our way of life, our heritage, and we

are proud of it. We are happy with our culture and have no

desire to change, and we really don’t care how you did things

where you came from. We are Americans, like it or not, this

is our country, our land, and our lifestyle.

Our First Amendment gives every citizen the right to express

his opinion about our government, culture, or society, and we

will allow you every opportunity to do so.

But once you are done complaining, whining, and griping about

our flag, our pledge, our national motto, or our way of life, I

highly encourage you take advantage of one other great American

            freedom, the right to leave.

IX. WE ARE TO REMEMBER THE OLD PATHS.

(Jer 6:16) Thus saith the LORD, Stand ye in the ways, and see, and ask for the old paths, where is the good way, and walk therein, and ye shall find rest for your souls. But they said, We will not walk therein.

Proverbs 22:28

Remove not the ancient landmark, which thy fathers have set.

What are the old landmarks?

        A. The Old Book. It is not old fashioned; it is still current today.

I’m going to stay with the “Old Book.” If you want to change, go ahead, but not me.

I’m going to stick with the “Old Paths.”

        B. The Old Time Religion.

                1. This new stuff is sending people to hell at lightning speed. You can’t follow this new stuff and go to heaven.

                2. The old time religion condemns Chris tians partying 6 nights a week and then singing in the choir on Sunday AM. That’s false and will send people to hell.

        C. The Old Country Church . Sunday night someone would light the kerosene lamps. Everyone would gather around the piano and sing for 45 minutes. Then the preacher would come and preach for an hour about the awfulness of sin or the horrors of hell, or maybe the sweetness of heaven. That old time religion is good enough for me.

        D. The Old Hymns. I like some of the new songs and worship choruses, but I feel sorry for the churches that have forsa ken the old hymns.

                1. “The Old Rugged Cross.”

                2. “Nothing But The Blood.”

                3. “At The Cross.”

                4. “Blessed Assurance.”

        E. The Old Doctrines.

(2 Tim 3:14)  But continue thou in the things which thou hast learned and hast been assured of, knowing of whom thou hast learned them;

                1. The blood atonement.

                2. Chris tian holiness.

                3. The Second Coming.

                4. Eternal Security.

                5. Baptism by immersion.

                6. The Virgin Birth.

                7. The Inspiration of the Scriptures.

                8. Heaven.

                9. Hell.

X. WE ARE TO REMEMBER THE LORD

We do this regularly thru the Lord’s Supper. “This Do In Remembrance of Me”. Remembering His ultimate sacrifice is the main thing…but it should lead us to remember Him in many other ways as well:

(Neh 4:14) And I looked, and rose up, and said unto the nobles, and to the rulers, and to the rest of the people, Be not ye afraid of them: remember the Lord, which is great and terrible…

        A. Remember Him With Our Time.

        B. Remember Him With Our Talent.

        C. Remember Him With Our Treasure.

        D. Remember Him In Our Thoughts.

        E. Remember Him In Our Tasks.

Let’s not forget these things that are so important.

Remember His Dying Love. “Father, forgive them.”

Remember His Comforting Call. “Come unto me.”

Remember His Charge. “Go ye into all the world and preach.”

Remember His Commandments. “If ye love me keep my commandments.”

(Judg 2:10) And also all that generation were gathered unto their fathers: and there arose another generation after them, which knew not the LORD, nor yet the works which he had done for Israel .

“The Battle of Evermore” is a folk rock song by the English rock band Led Zeppelin, featured on their untitled fourth album (a.k.a. “Led Zeppelin IV”), released in 1971. The song is well-known for its acoustic guitar and mandolin playing.

From WikiPedia Source,

As Page explained in 1977:”Battle of Evermore” was made up on the spot by Robert [Plant] and myself. I just picked up John Paul Jones’s mandolin, never having played a mandolin before, and just wrote up the chords and the whole thing in one sitting.[3]
Vocalist Robert Plant had recently been reading about Scottish folklore and this inspired him to compose the lyrics to this song.[1] The song, like some others by the group, makes references to The Lord of the Rings by J. R. R. Tolkien. Plant felt he needed another voice to tell the story and for the recording of this song folk singer Sandy Denny was invited to duet with Plant. Denny was a former member of British folk group Fairport Convention, with whom Led Zeppelin had shared a bill in 1970 at the Bath Festival of Blues and Progressive Music. Plant played the role of the narrator and Denny represented the town crier. Page elaborated:
[The song] sounded like an old English instrumental first off. Then it became a vocal and Robert did his bit. Finally we figured we’d bring Sandy by and do a question-and-answer-type thing.[3]

To thank her for her involvement, Denny was given the symbol on the album sleeve of three pyramids (the four members of Led Zeppelin each designed their own symbols for the album). This is the only song Led Zeppelin ever recorded with a guest vocalist. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ Sandy_Denny
For the sake of Memorial Day and the contribution by Sandy Denny to her more personal work with Fairport Convention, coincidently she sings a song called “Who knows where the time goes” – Fairport Convention
Office of the Press Secretary
For Immediate Release May 28, 2010
Presidential Proclamation–Memorial Day
Since our Nation’s founding, America’s sons and daughters have given their lives in service to our country. From Concord and Gettysburg to Marne and Normandy, from Inchon and Khe Sanh to Baghdad and Kandahar, they departed our world as heroes and gave their lives for a cause greater than themselves.
On Memorial Day, we pay tribute to those who have paid the ultimate price to defend the United States and the principles upon which America was founded. In honor of our country’s fallen, I encourage all Americans to unite at 3:00 p.m. local time to observe a National Moment of Remembrance.
Today, Americans from all backgrounds and corners of our country serve with valor, courage, and distinction in the United States Armed Forces. They stand shoulder to shoulder with the giants of our Nation’s history, writing their own chapter in the American story. Many of today’s warriors know what it means to lose a friend too soon, and all our service members and their families understand the true meaning of sacrifice.
This Memorial Day, we express our deepest appreciation to the men and women in uniform who gave their last full measure of devotion so we might live in freedom. We cherish their memory and pray for the peace for which they laid down their lives. We mourn with the families and friends of those we have lost, and hope they find comfort in knowing their loved ones died with honor. We ask for God’s grace to protect those fighting in distant lands, and we renew our promise to support our troops, their families, and our veterans. Their unwavering devotion inspires us all — they are the best of America.
It is our sacred duty to preserve the legacy of these brave Americans, and it remains our charge to work for peace, freedom, and security. Let us always strive to uphold the founding principles they died defending; let their legacy continue to inspire our Nation; and let this solemn lesson of service and sacrifice be taught to future generations of Americans.
In honor of their dedication and service to America, the Congress, by a Joint Resolution, approved May 11, 1950, as amended (36 U.S.C. 116), has requested the President to issue a proclamation calling on the people of the United States to observe each Memorial Day as a day of prayer for permanent peace and designating a period on that day when the people of the United States might unite in prayer. The Congress, by Public Law 106-579, has also designated 3:00 p.m. local time on that day as a time for all Americans to observe, in their own way, the National Moment of Remembrance.
NOW, THEREFORE, I, BARACK OBAMA, President of the United States of America, do hereby proclaim Memorial Day, May 31, 2010, as a day of prayer for permanent peace, and I designate the hour beginning in each locality at 11:00 a.m. of that day as a time to unite in prayer. I also ask all Americans to observe the National Moment of Remembrance beginning at 3:00 p.m. local time on Memorial Day.
I request the Governors of the United States and the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, and the appropriate officials of all units of government, to direct that the flag be flown at half-staff until noon on this Memorial Day on all buildings, grounds, and naval vessels throughout the United States and in all areas under its jurisdiction and control. I also request the people of the United States to display the flag at half staff from their homes for the customary forenoon period.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, I have hereunto set my hand this twenty-eighth day of May, in the year of our Lord two thousand ten, and of the Independence of the United States of America the two hundred and thirty-fourth.
BARACK OBAMA

——————————————————————————–

Outside of recent developements that recent generations may thought they would never wanted to see …
No…
——————————————————————————–

Finale
I wanted to remember some that had lost their lives from History , or maybe one from recent days ..
..but I figured to take a moment in my thoughts at peace, for all those, as I pray and meditate through the Day with God…
.. something from History, a note of a deer aquaintance who fought on board the USS
ALABAMA,
… though all who fought on board maybe did not survive, he made it home and died an old age peacefully.
View Memorial Park and USS Alabama

I think he would like hearing this one of these, thinking of the Ship..

But maybe another song more purposeful for Memorial Day

Maybe just a silent day…

I don’t know why I never posted this.

A WULF TOILET?
ODEBOLT, Iowa – Jake Wulf wants to keep the lid on it.

I didn’t cause Ellen done it.

The advantage of taking the story for use as a lede, is flipping the lid off of the can; the worms are found in the political stools.

Then why not post something about this to compliment that story, with one of our modern day’s; (Between The Lines):
Line 1 – Two in the Bush
Line 2 – There is nothing “inbetween”

Nothing can give or take away from the true inventor’s gift to humanity.

Okay Barbara has a worthy news note, and a slideshow of the Rose Lei Fashion Show. Website suggested search titles preceed images (mouse over image for image titles)
Former president George W. Bush

Me, …
… I simply “know” nothing, and, have nothing to say; except the only real rose I found was “Jenna”.

Fashions one thing, but when you have a political question about a political policy that the Legislators(the experts) did not read, whether the public votes for it, or likes it; neither mean anything towards the leadership qualities that lend more to existance of a metamorphasis of a policy to be as a seed, than anything the experts have presented of orthodox or contemporary combigned ;as the media quetions Barbara – “Why do, basically, people with money have good health care and why do people who live on lower salaries not have good health care?”

Her answer - “Health should be a right for everyone.” She is president of the Global Health Corps, an organization that champions global health equity.

… I believe that answer to be … True.

As for the can of worms, of today, it reminds me of an old market add a short age ago.

Dear Reader,

The quiet voice on the other end of the phone said only three words…but they set my mind racing.

“It’s open again.”

… you’ve almost certainly heard its legend. …This is the famously successful “royalty paycheck” program that paid out $50 for every single dollar invested…before closing its doors to….

Moving this post out of the 2007 draft , today, conserving a flush by avoiding deletion; posting a note of what the world of the press and media have loaded to front page, top of the hours, etc…; “standing” “upwind”…
ONE OF THOSE TWO WORDS will be noted.

It doesn’t always workout like we expect…
Once again, II tried to find something of my own..
The best i COULD RELAY (with hopes not to mess it up) was by searching my own archives for “prayer“..) because I edidited often; for better words, “”RE-EDIT”; defining “reedificauit”: it may take me a while… Hope it relates…
.Re-defining, or re-assuring my understanding from something of my own and/or from the most current {knowledge?) that I can find on the web…;
..that is to say from the start, few of my own posts, or share links sent, remain “as is”..
to the the original; if so, it is rare..
Mostly, I hope what your take on the bulk of this message is not to difficult to
Understand’t, , specialally with additional stuff I relate.
If any of your takes differ to far from my own ..
email-me back if yours differs too much, that is, i may not see somethings clearly myself…
If you relate the same, the post a comment everyone will enjoy.

In short, here is another window of thought in likeness…
..to many, and too much; were the paths to relate, over all the links it took me to get to the Ten Virgins note here:
…
We should all be able to interpret dreams just as our patriarch Joseph did. In fact the Gate of Joseph is one of the 12 gates of the Holy City. It is one of the gates of our future home! (Rev. 7 & 21) (see the ten virgins and the photo page)

Yu Just Never Know…
WET PANTS
Come with me to a third grade classroom..
… There is a nine-year-old kid sitting at his desk and all of a sudden, there is a puddle between his feet and the front of his pants are wet.
He thinks his heart is going to stop because he cannot possibly imagine how this has happened. It’s never happened before, and he knows that when the boys find out he will never hear the end of it.
When the girls find out, they’ll never speak to him again as long as he lives….
The boy believes his heart is going to stop; he puts his head down and prays this prayer,
‘Dear God, this is an Emergency! I need help now! Five minutes from now I’m dead meat.’

He looks up from his prayer and here comes the teacher with a look in her eyes that says he has been discovered.
.As the teacher is walking toward him, a classmate named
Susie is carrying a goldfish bowl that is filled with water.
Susie trips in front of the teacher and inexplicably dumps the bowl of water in the boy’s lap.

The boy pretends to be angry, but all the while is
saying to himself, ‘Thank you, Lord! Thank you, Lord!’

Now all of a sudden, instead of being the object of ridicule, the boy is the object of sympathy. The teacher rushes him downstairs and gives him gym shorts to put on while his pants dry out.
All the other children are on their hands and knees cleaning up around his desk. The sympathy is wonderful . But as life would have it, the ridicule that should have been his has been transferred to someone else -
Susie..

She tries to help, but they tell her to get out.
You’ve done enough, you klutz!’
Finally, at the end of the day, as they are waiting for
the bus, the boy walks over to Susie and
whispers, ‘You did that on purpose, didn’t you?’
Susie whispers back, ‘I wet my pants once
too..’
